Arts & Crafts style bookcase
A free-standing bookcase in oak with style elements taken from the Arts & Crafts movement with a
hint of contemporary design in the shape of the outward curving legs which were laminated from several
thin layers of oak.
The doors have glazing bars of meranti positioned over the fixed shelves in order that the appearance
of the front is not confused by too many features. The door handles also add a more modern feel, their
hand-carved shape adding a feature just asking to be touched.
