A low sideboard designed to be placed alongside or behind a sofa.
Clearly influenced by Shaker ideas of design, the design aims for simplicity. The intention
was to create a piece which did not draw attention to itself while serving its purpose for
many years.
The only concession to decoration are the hand-carved drawer handles made from some offcuts of
Brazilian mahogany.
